The New England Patriots look like they have their future quarterback. Rookie QB Mac Jones has been talking in the NFL after leading New England to four straight wins.

Last Sunday, Jones had a remarkable performance that opened the eyes of many. The rookie managed to complete 19 of 23 passes for 198 yards and three touchdowns, his first three TD game in the NFL when his New England Patriots blew up the Cleveland Browns.

Jones’ early success took many by surprise. He was the last of the five first-round quarterbacks to be inducted into the 2021 NFL Draft. He didn’t have a rocket arm like Zach Wilson, Trevor Lawrence’s polish, or Justin Fields’ athleticism. But he plays the best of any rookie, regardless of whether he beat Cam Newton for the starting job at camp.

No other rookie quarterback has finished a game with a passer rating of over 100 all season. Jones has done it five times already.

Kansas City Chiefs bully Mathieu has noticed people turn their minds about him and speak out.

Mac Jones wasn’t trendy enough for all of you at first, huh now you all love him…. Man are you all funny !!! Day in, day out !!! You should all be on Comedy Central

Jones currently has the Patriots in the playoff picture at 6-4. At this point, even his most ardent skeptics during the draft have to admit that he succeeded as a rookie QB.

Perhaps NFL fans shouldn’t be so surprised. During his time in Alabama, he was a star on and off the court. In just three years he completed his studies in communication sciences with an average grade of 4.0. He continued to play in Alabama the following school year while completing a master’s degree in sports management, yet still managed to graduate with a perfect GPA.

Let’s not forget that he was named a Consensus All-American and was a finalist for the Heisman Trophy, in addition to the Davey O’Brien, Johnny Unitas Golden Arm, and Manning Awards.

He succeeded former quarterbacks Jalen Hurts and Tua Tagovailoa. Last week, the Roll Tide trio were winners for the first time in the same week since they all turned pro.

And if that doesn’t tell you how talented he is, did you know his first job was as a child model and actor?

When asked about his first job on @MerloniFauria, Mac Jones said he was a child model.

“There are a couple of commercials for you to try and find.”

Of course the internet found the pictures:

Jones spoke to ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit about his career as a child model prior to the design.

“My parents always wanted me to try things,” said Jones. “They never really pushed me to exercise, which is really cool. So I tried modeling [and] Acting. “

Aside from being a charming child star, Jones is definitely a jack-of-all-trades. It won’t come as a surprise to see him as a Rookie of The Year nominee as he’ll undoubtedly only get better from here.
