Aaron Rodgers broke his silence over hiding his vaccination status while appearing on the Pat McAfee Show on Friday. The Packers QB played every note on the dog whistle and called the outrage over him for not following the Covid protocols while unvaccinated a “witch hunt”, accusing a “woken up mob” and referring to “culture break”. Rodgers then rounded off the idiot buffet by saying he had consulted with Joe Rogan about taking the horse deworming drug ivermectin.
In a truly amazing interview, it wasn’t three minutes before Rodgers dropped that line.
“I know I’m in the crosshairs of the woke up mob, so before the final nail is put into my demolition culture box, I want to correct some of the blatant lies that are out there about me.”
It’s like Rodgers playing Scattergories with people who believe that Confederate monuments should be preserved. The QB went on to say that he was not vaccinated because he is allergic to an ingredient found in both Pfizer and Moderna vaccines.
There is only one problem: other than the mRNA component, there is no common ingredient in every variant of the Pfizer and Moderna vaccine. According to the CDC contents sheets for both vaccines, they contain the following:
The only common ingredient is sucrose, also known as sugar – and tromethamine, an extremely common blood thinner that is used not only in the vast majority of vaccines but also in all types of syringes – including pain relievers. In addition, there are variants of the Prizer vaccine that do not contain tromethamine, especially for those who have allergies to the ingredient.
So the idea that Rodgers had no choice but the Johnson & Johnson vaccine is, as he said, probably another lie. Either he is ignorant of the subject or he is again willingly trying to mislead people.
Rodgers justified his decision by saying, “The CDC’s own website says that if you are allergic to any of the ingredients, you shouldn’t get the vaccine.” No it doesn’t … not really. It says that in these cases you should not receive the vaccine unless you have a SERIOUS allergic reaction or an IMMEDIATE allergic reaction. The former is anaphylaxis, the latter is hives, oozing, or shortness of breath.
If Rodgers was really allergic, the NFL would have granted him a medical exemption – which they didn’t.
The problem is only partially that Rodgers was not vaccinated, but that he lied or knowingly mislead – and continues to lie or knowingly mislead. Like a kid whose hand is in a cookie jar and swears it’s the cookie that bit his hand. Rodgers was reportedly “angry” about his vaccination status. Because he wants to play on both sides to keep his brand.
Today he made it clear who he is. Rodgers left no doubt that at best he is extremely uninformed and part of a far bigger problem.
Packers QB Aaron Rodgers: “The next big chapter in my life is being a father.” Fears that the vaccine would render him sterile were a factor in his decision.
“I’m not an Anti-Vaxx, Flat one.”

To say in response to the Covid vaccine that you are not an “Anti-Vaxx Flat” is like saying that you are “immunized” when asked if you are vaccinated. It’s a distraction, a cover, and all that ivermectin in the world won’t stop the damage it did to Aaron Rodgers’ worldview.
It really wouldn’t have been difficult to just say, “I won’t get vaccinated”. This could have ended before it started, but Aaron took it all on himself.
